Sri Sri: The secret to happiness is to do seva and not have any wishes.
The more you do seva the more you are happy.
The third thing is knowledge.

Q: Is it really and possible to be happy and smiling like you? I promise I wont compete you.
Sri Sri: I want competition. In fact you should tell me that you will always compete with me. There is an ancient saying: a teacher's pride is when the student challenges. Challenge means not in a bad way. I will do this. The teacher loves to be defeated by a student. That is the pride of the teacher.

How to keep smiling?
What robs you of your smile is unpleasant events. Events that do not bring comfort or which appear to give you misery.
When you realize that you are much bigger than events that occur, then the smile on your face will not vanish.
Second when you know that there is someone to guide you, take care of you, then also your smile will not vanish.
Third when you know that you are here to give. That gives you strength to move through moments when you cannot smile.

Sri Sri: You should have no time other than to develop your skill.

Sri Sri: If you ask me you should quit.

Q: I told my boss, I have faith in Bhagavad Gita, since then my boss has stopped paying me my salary. What should I do?

Sri Sri: Tell them that Bhagavad Gita also talks about fighting for your rights.

Q: How can married people be dispassionate?
Sri Sri: When there is fight, when there is some discussion that bothers you, be dispassionate.
A variragi lives in the present moment.

Q: What is the importance of donating food?
Sri Sri: Any donation is about sharing and living. And this is a Divine quality.

Q: What is the effect of effort on karma?
Sri Sri: Karma is associated with every facet of life.
With knowledge, bhakti (devotion), karma is lessened.
Everything else increases karma.

Q: I have acquired a lot of skills doing seva, but it does not help in practical life.
Sri Sri: Whatever you learn in life will help you sometime or the other.

Q: You have said that women were so powerful that even nature would listen. What happened?
Sri Sri: You have to ask the historians. Women should not ask for power or wait for someone to give them the power. Know that you have the power and move on. Women should move collectively. Yesterday, there was a discussion in Delhi. Women in Kashmir do not have power over property. The law is such women cannot transfer property to her daughter.
A single mother in Kashmir has to surrender her home and land to the government.
She cannot give her property to her daughter.
One country should have only one flag, one constitution.
Intellectuals should sit and go through the article 370.
It is doing injustice to the people over there.
How many of you think this is gross injustice?
Everybody. No sane person will think this is good justice.
Like this there are many many laws, many many provisions.
Jammu the population is more and Kashmir the population is less.
1 MLA represents 1 lakh in Jammu. In Srinagar 1 MLA represents 12000 people.

You see the way these laws were made and presidential order was passed without even going through the parliament.
These are all illegal.
There are so many women like this who are deprived over their own homes, over their own property.
If a women claims a property, she is looked down upon as if she is robbing the property of her siblings.
I think women all over should stand up and give justice to these people.
